Not all stem cell clinics are created equal, and not all offer quality, tested, fresh cells. COFEPRIS or the Federal Committee for Protection from Sanitary Risks (Comisión Federal para la Protección contra Riesgos Sanitarios) is the department within the agency that deals with the importation of medical devices and issues advertising permits for these products. It was founded in 2001 with the dispositions of the Article 17 Bis of the General Law of Health 1 and Article 4 of the Constitution. COFEPRIS is a decentralized and autonomous body run by a commissioner appointed by the Mexican president and deals with controlling health facilities, sanitary control of advertising activities, and monitoring the manufacturing, import, or export of health products. Our clinic is COFEPRIS certified, one of the few clinics with this designation.
What are mesenchymal stem cells?
Mesenchymal stem cells are a specialized cell that utilizes the Wharton's jelly stem cells, a type of cells with extremely potent potential for immuno-privileged class, and which don't raise any ethical or legal issues. They can differentiate into a variety of types of cells, and possess many potential advantages as transplantable cells for the treatment of a multitude of diseases and issues.
What kinds of issues can stem cells help?
There are so many things that our stem cells can help with! We have patients who have cancer, chronic liver disease, cardiovascular diseases, nerve, cartilage and tendon injury), chronic fatigue syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, long-COVID (PASC), wound healing, damaged joints, arthritis, inflammation, and injury. If you have specific questions about your personal issues, contact us and we will be able to access clinical data regarding treatment options.
Why do I need to go to Mexico for stem cells?
In Mexico, stem cells are highly regulated, have undergone clinical trials, and our clinic has undergone the rigorous certification process in order to administer the best quality cells to our clients. Many clients are often very sick, vulnerable, and we are COFEPRIS certified which means that the Mexican government allows us to provide quality treatment to those that are delicate. Stem cells in the United States or other countries are not as highly regulated, are cryogenically frozen, are made from adult stem cells, and are not as effective as the fresh, tested cells that our clinic is able to provide.
What can I expect from treatment and after treatment?
Treatment varies from patient to patient, each person is different, and we treat each client based on their individual needs. We have our doctors connect with potential clients to talk about their health issues, and then together, they create a treatment plan. When clients arrive, they often have labs done, x-rays, and other diagnostic options prior to receiving treatment. Getting stem cell therapy is as easy as sitting in a chair, and having an IV put in your arm. We administer our stem cells with saline, and add a Vitamin C boost to help the body absorb the cells. Some patients have heightened symptoms for a day or two (headaches, tiredness), but that passes once the cells start to take action in the body. We start patients on a lower dose, and work our way up depending on how each client is feeling. We also offer placental implants and exosomes if the client requests them.
Where do we get our stem cells?
We work hard to find the best, most potent stem cells in Mexico, from respected and certified companies. We proudly source our cells from our friends at Stem Health in Guadalajara, which has been serving patients since 2012. The quality of the cells are extremely strong, so our clients don't need the higher doses that other clinics recommend, and this saves our clients money. Stem Health's strong standards rely on the science, morals, and ethical practices regarding how the cells are handled, refined, and delivered to our clinic. Our patients are impressed with the strength of the cells, and the savings that is passed on to them. Our cells are sourced from donors that are monitored throughout the process, and the cells are tested after they have been harvested prior to delivery to the clinic. The stem cell companies checks for diseases, illnesses, and what vaccines each donor has received. Our cells are fresh, not cryogenically frozen or processed. We have patients who are incredibly sensitive to environmental factors, and our quality cells highlight how we recognize that each body is different. Nothing is one-size-fits-all, and we have the purest quality stem cells that you can find.
